This Week’s Verse: Philippians 2:8

“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (ESV).

“And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!” (NIV)

Sunday: Read the verse & context. Ask for the Lord’s help to hide it in your heart, live it out and that He would use it to make you a blessing to others. Pick your version.

Monday: Read the reference & passage 10 times out loud. Then cover the passage and try 10 times (peek as needed).

Tuesday: Cover the passage and say the verse out loud 10 more times.

Wednesday – Saturday: Meditate on this week’s verse. This is the main goal – meditate on that verse each day. Pray about what it teaches you, what needs to change, how to apply it. Meditation means mulling over it, thinking about it day and night:

Pray: How can I use this to pray? For me & others

Repent: What sin or disobedience does it address?

Obey: Is there a decision to make? Direction to follow? A command to obey?

Believe: What does this Scripture teach about God’s character, nature or ways? About me? About salvation?

Express: How does it prompt praise or thanksgiving?
