“We Treasure the Bible”
The Psalmist professed in chapter 119:46-48:
I will also speak of your testimonies before kings
and shall not be put to shame,
for I find my delight in your commandments,
which I love.
I will lift up my hands toward your commandments,
which I love,
and I will meditate on your statutes.
But what does it mean to delight in God’s commandments? What are we declaring when we say that we love God’s word? How do we meditate on his statutes?
Treasuring the Holy Bible is one of our core values at DEFC. Please join us for a five-week series this September as we examine what it means to treasure God’s word and what it looks like for us to truly delight in his commandments.
