“Living on Purpose”
As children we observed that there are two great lights in the sky, but we soon learned from our parents and teachers that only one of those lights actually radiates with glory. The other is just a cold, dark rock that orbits endlessly around our planet. However, when that small globe meets the sun, it reflects the magnificence of the greater light so that everyone may see.
Like that dull rock we have been created for a greater purpose than orbiting through life without meaning. We were made for so much more! But it is not until we encounter the glory of God that we can serve our true purpose in life: to reflect the magnificence of our Creator. When we put the “WOW!” of God on display, we experience the joy that comes only when we live according to the purpose we have been created for.
