The path to citizenship in many countries can be an arduous task of fulfilling numerous requirements. However, many overlook the responsibilities of what good citizenship ought to look like as one properly fulfills his or her role as a member of their new nation.
As dual-citizens Christians understand that while they were born with citizenship in one nation, they have also been granted citizenship in heaven. Truly, we are not yet home. Therefore, it is also important that while living in this world we understand the manner of life which we ought to live and conduct ourselves.
We must live out our citizenship requirements. We must walk in a manner worthy of the good news of Christ, the one who fulfilled the requirements which bought our citizenship in heaven.
