Craig Jepsen (Prayer Ministry): My wife, Pat, and I have three grown children. I am 60 years old. My life verse is Revelation 3:20, which sums up my faith journey. The hound of heaven, as C.S. Lewis stated, pursued me all my life and about 20 years ago caught up. With my acceptance of Jesus Christ came an understanding of my sinfulness, a desire to read God’s word, and the need for repentance in my life. My life’s goal is to know Jesus for who He is as Lord and Savior, to trust in what he has promised to do and to live life like I truly believe it. That is my prayer for the body of Christ.
Jeff Niles (Pastoral Ministry): I grew up in Colorado and was called by the Lord into ministry in my early years of high school. After graduating Moody Bible Institute in 1995 I began an 11-year career in ministry. In 2006 Angie and I moved to Fort Worth, Texas with our five children where we continued to serve in the local church while I attended Dallas Theological Seminary. During this time God further cultivated in me a love for God’s word and a desire to shepherd God’s people and finally he led our family to DeWitt, a community that we are blessed to call our home.
Brian Schmidt (Care Ministry): My wife, Jane, and I have three children all living in Ames now. I came to Christ as a student at Iowa State University in 1974. I look forward to all that God has planned for us in the coming days.
