Our Interim Pastor is Mike Rollings. He has been pastoring the church while the church is searching for a new Pastor. Pastor Mike first came to DeWitt in 1977 as an intern to plant the Church. He met his wife, Kathy at one of the first worship services held at Ekstrand School. Mike was Pastor for 8 years before moving to a church in central Iowa and then being out of the ministry and in the business world for several years. He believes that he is being called back into the full-time ministry and for now to help in serving this Church in the interim.
Mike’s wife is Kathy Rollings who works at DeWitt Bank and Trust Accounting Division and they have two grown children, Joel who lives in Connecticut and Joy who lives in Ames, Ia. They live with Gracie the dog and Lucy the cat. Mike loves to read especially non-fiction and is a History geek. Kathy and Mike both enjoy traveling and mostly hanging out on a beach.
Mike has two passions as a Preacher: the cross and the expository preaching of the Word of God, verse by verse. He believes that changed lives come from having the gospel preached and digging into God’s Word.
